Why Use It: Essential for areas exposed to moisture, helping to maintain the integrity of the walls and ceilings while providing a smooth finish for painting or tiling.

3. Fire-Resistant Plasterboard

Effectiveness: Provides additional protection in the event of a fire by delaying heat transfer and preventing the spread of flames. It is rated with specific fire resistance ratings (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 minutes).

Why Use It: Important in meeting fire safety regulations for specific building areas and enhancing the overall safety of the building.

4. Soundproof Plasterboard

Effectiveness: It is denser and thicker than standard plasterboard, providing excellent sound insulation properties. It is often used in music studios, offices, and multi-story buildings where noise reduction is essential.

Why Use It: Ideal for creating a quieter environment, reducing noise from adjoining rooms or floors. It is commonly used in residential buildings, schools, and hospitals.
